We are seeking for a passionate intern to join our Software test and validation team based in Cachan.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing, validation processes, and software quality assurance, all while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

The Software Test and Validation Engineer will report to the Senior Software Test and Validation Engineer.

Your key responsabilities :

• Write and execute functional and performance tests using Pytest.
• Analyze technical and functional specifications to identify test cases.
• Execute manual and automated test campaigns.
• Investigate and reproduce bugs reported by automation tests.
• Report and track bugs using a bug-tracking tool (GitLab Issues).
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Write technical documents, such as validation reports and user guides for testing tools.

Your qualifications :

• Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field 

- Must-have : 

• Strong Python skills for scripting
• Familiarity with Git.
• Attention to detail and rigor.
• Ability to solve problems independently.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in French and English (written and spoken).

- It's a a real bonus if :

• You have a previous experience in an internship or academic project involving Python and software testing
• Experience with working in virtual environments
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools like GitLab.
• Familiarity with performance testing and related metrics.
