We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Product Management, Product Marketing, and Marketing Communications to lead the development and execution of our product portfolio strategy. This role is key in driving the success of our products in the market by overseeing product management, leading marketing initiatives, and ensuring effective communication across internal teams and with customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both product development and marketing, with a proven track record of executing high-impact strategies that drive growth, customer engagement, and market leadership.
The Director of Product Management, Product Marketing, and Marketing Communications will be located near Paris to manage our local team.
The person will report to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Your key responsabilities :
1/ Product Management :
· Strategic Product Roadmap: Lead the product management team in developing and executing the product roadmap. Define and prioritize product features and innovations that align with business objectives and customer needs.
· Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer requirements, competitive offerings, and emerging industry trends. Use this data to drive product development and positioning.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, R&D, sales, and customer support to ensure product development is aligned with market demands and deliverables are on time and within scope.
· Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of products from concept to end-of-life. Ensure continuous improvements based on customer feedback and market analysis.
2/ Product Marketing:
· Go-To-Market Leadership: Develop and lead the execution of GTM strategies for new and existing products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all product launches and marketing efforts align with business goals and customer needs.
· Product Positioning & Messaging: Create clear, compelling, and differentiated messaging that resonates with target customers and sets the product apart from competitors. Ensure consistency across all marketing and communication channels.
· Sales Enablement: Provide the sales team with the tools, training, and support they need to effectively sell products. This includes product training, collateral, case studies, competitive analysis, and ongoing support.
· Performance Tracking & Analysis: Track product performance, customer feedback, and competitive landscape. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize marketing campaigns and product offerings.
3/ Marketing Communications :
· Integrated Marketing Strategy: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing communications strategy that aligns with business goals, product positioning, and brand identity.
· Brand and Messaging Consistency: Ensure product and corporate messaging is consistent across all touchpoints, including digital, print, and in-person communications.
· Public Relations & Media Engagement: Oversee public relations activities, including press releases, media outreach, and product announcements, to increase visibility and strengthen brand reputation.
· Internal Communications: Ensure effective communication of product-related updates and strategies across internal teams. Facilitate alignment between Product, Sales, Marketing, and other departments.
· Event Strategy & Support: Oversee marketing communications for product-related events, webinars, trade shows, and conferences, ensuring cohesive messaging and impactful execution.

Your qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
· Experience: 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, and Marketing Communications, with a proven track record of leadership in a product-centric, B2B/B2C organization.
· Leadership: Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring cross-functional teams to achieve company goals.
· Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies while managing day-to-day marketing and product management tasks.
· Market Expertise: Deep understanding of product lifecycle management, competitive analysis, customer needs, and market trends.
· Marketing Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of marketing tools and strategies, including digital marketing, content creation, and demand generation.
· Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and present to senior stakeholders, customers, and internal teams.
· Analytical Skills: Data-driven approach with strong ability to analyze market data, track KPIs, and make informed decisions based on insights.
· Industry Experience: Experience in microscopy /life science is a plus.
