We are seeking an Field Service Engineer, in Cachan to join our global Customer Care team.

The Field Service Engineer will report to the Customer Care Manager.
Your key responsabilities :
- Provide remote & on-site assistance: carry out interventions and maximize customer satisfaction (installations, training, needs follow-up, after-sales service, maintenance), with business travel up to 50-60% of the time
- Share users' feedback, system improvement, and correction points with the company's various teams (Customer Care, Sales, Production, Product, R&D, Marketing).
- Create, maintain, and distribute customer-facing documentation: troubleshooting guides, technical bulletins, software/hardware release messages
Your qualifications :
Master degree in a multidisciplinary engineering field (optics and/or biology are a plus)
- Must-have :
- Solution-oriented mindset
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a remote team
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- It's a a real bonus if :
- You have experience in technical support or in a customer-facing role
- You have experience in microscopy or super-resolution fluorescence microscopy (SMLM) or image analysis
