About the role
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Senior Marketing and Communications Manager with deep expertise in digital marketing and demand generation. This role will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing and communications strategies designed to increase brand awareness, drive qualified leads, and support revenue growth.
The ideal candidate is both a creative storyteller and a data-driven marketer — someone who can craft compelling campaigns, manage a strong brand voice, and translate marketing performance metrics into actionable insights.
The Senior Marketing and Communications Manager will be located in Cachan and will manage their activities at a global level (Europe and the US).
The person will report to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Your key responsabilities :
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute multi-channel marketing and communications strategies to support business goals and lead generation targets.
- Partner with sales and leadership teams to align marketing campaigns with revenue objectives and pipeline growth.
- Manage marketing budgets, forecasts, and ROI tracking.
- Serve as the brand steward, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
Digital Marketing & Lead Generation
- Lead digital marketing strategy across web, email, SEO/SEM, paid media, and social channels.
- Design and execute demand generation campaigns to drive MQLs (Marketing Qualified Leads) and optimize conversion rates.
- Manage marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) to build and nurture lead funnels.
- Leverage analytics to measure campaign performance, customer engagement, and ROI.
- Test and optimize digital advertising and landing pages to increase lead volume and quality.
Communications & Content
- Develop integrated communications plans that amplify brand reputation and market positioning.
- Create and oversee content for campaigns, newsletters, website, blogs, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Manage PR and media relations to secure visibility in relevant industry publications.
- Support internal communications to enhance organizational alignment and culture.
Team & Vendor Management
- Supervise and mentor marketing and communications staff.
- Manage agency and vendor partnerships for media, creative, and digital services.
- Oversee production of marketing collateral and creative assets
Your qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7–10+ years of progressive experience in marketing and communications, with proven success in digital marketing and lead generation.
- Must have : Life Science industry experience, ideally within the tools segments HW/SW/Reagents
- Demonstrated ability to design and manage integrated campaigns that convert leads into customers.
- Strong grasp of digital tools and technologies: Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets, teams, and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in A/B testing, funnel optimization, and performance reporting.
